What is CBT?

CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is an evidence based therapy that has a range of adaptations to address different problems. It is based on the concept that how we think, affects how we feel and behave and can create unhelpful cycles or patterns of behaviour that can leave us feeling trapped.

The aim of CBT is to break these patterns down into more manageable parts so you feel less overwhelmed, and able to create more helpful, healthy ways of overcoming life's challenges.
